Lol you did get me on that one, you have to butcher the shit out of the cross member.

I was thinking more along the lines of the fender and pinch welds.

Options to run larger tires are DB with minimal body work or body work with no DB. One of these maintains low COG.

I chose body work. I can stuff 37's at stock ride height.

That's true. I've never worried about tipping my truck from a higher COG since it isn't even barely as high as a stock f150.

Do the 37's rub under real off-roading articulation or at full lock?

Are you also running extended LCA's or still stock? I find it hard to believe you have no rub under real articulation with stuffed 37's.

This is the way. If OP is gonna start cutting frame he should do it right. JD fab pivot, RCLT, portals. I wanna see 41s OP! 36s are rookie numbers, you gotta pump those numbers up!

I don’t think you are taking the term BODY WORK seriously enough in his statement.

He is also running extended LCA's which makes sense. He could stuff 37's stock but it would rub a dub under real articulation, or maybe he relocated the cab mounts as well as destroyed the pinch weld with that body work.

By stuff he means the tire doesnt touch anything from bump to strap, lock to lock. The proper way to clear tires.

Right, which would require destroying the pinch weld and butchering or relocating the cab mounts.

Not destroying anything, simply cutting it out and putting some new steel in....

Imma let y’all finish but have to say this thread is great entertainment. Really shows how little understanding some people have of suspension and actual off-road performance, and blatant ignorance of facts when it comes to justifying their doodoo donk derp lift. Please carry on!

If you are not on 35's or higher, don't talk about actual off-road performance. Also how are your CV axles handling that 2.5" horrific angle with that derp lift?

A level dry dirt trail is not off-roading.

Every serious long travel off-road setup runs 35's or higher.
