No but it would definitely have a bed rack with a Rotopack. Maybe even a RTT if they are feeling daring.

No i would agree the Taco would be the number 1 vehicle to do one on. I never said that a tacoma isn’t likely the number 1 vehicle to be SAS.

I said that SAS Tacoma's are rare, which they are. Doing a SAS in general is rare.

I don’t leave home without a hi lift bolted to my hood either. Only on 32s and gee golly those curbs are tall

I have a skid plate and run seafoam every third gas tank if it’s a full moon, so I think I should be ok. I hope.

6" BDS DB, 37", Dirt King, Total chaos UCA's w/ Heims, Fox c/o's, 4-banger fenders, 37" Nittos, 4.88 w/ rear ARB, AP Expos, 17x9 Method beadlocks, cab mount relocation, "Insain fab" tub, 5% tint, 10" Rockford Fosgates, Magnaflow 18" custom catback exhaust, AFE intake, Trail Gear bumper, Crown brake lines F/R
Only benefit of a DB would possibly be crown clearance in the center of the truck.

Or keeping stock CV angles, steering angles, not having to change UCA’s since all angles remain the same. Not having to worry about your needle bearing in the front diff exploding due to the non-stock angles. Also lack of excessive wear on all components that have all the stock angles thrown out of wack.

A DB lift allows you to fit larger tires for ground clearance without throwing all your stock angles out of wack.

The serious wheelers dont mind replacing things that break and cutting things up to keep the COG low. Happy Friday TW! :bananadead:

The serious wheelers don’t usually buy weekend warrior Tacoma’s, they buy front SA vehicles with a crawl gear like the Bronco.

If 2 people were open minded then we might be able to find common ground.

I'm willing to admit their transfer cases are higher than most of ours. That said, most of us who do venture far off the beaten path prefer a simple set up that can be serviced 70 miles from the nearest cell service. We're also running skid plates to protect said transfer case. :hattip:

Edit; I'm riding on dinky 32s with a manual transmission. :crapstorm:
