Mouse Nest Somewhere in Air System

    Greetings,
    Pretty sure there is a mouse nest somewhere in the air system of my 2000 Tacoma. AC/heat blows out mouse nest smell and has been this way for 6 months. Had this happen before and was able to find the nest; this time it's not in the obvious places as it was before.
    Ideas of how to get rid of smell or find nest without tearing apart the whole truck?

    Man, you'll want to find that nest and disenfect all the components so you don't get sick from the droppings and urine. That happened to my dad's Nissan. Smells like hell!

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I'd start by taking the cowl cover off and seeing if it's just right on top of the air intake outside the truck.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    My nests seem to always be near the blower motor or else in the horizontal tube.

    Interesting to me it just smells like a mouse nest .

    Then they smell like dead mice.

    That is why I don't use poison they get in the wall and die .

    Another smell to get used to
