If you can't be in/don't have a garage, doing it at a cabin in the great outdoors is cool.
AAMOF, If my rig isn't in the garage, I'll take being at a cabin w/a view any day of the week.

Yeah for sure. The chrome was the first thing I got rid of, inside and out, with the exception of the headlights. They are LED, the chrome is a bit less noticable than the tails, and are hella more expensive to replace. Interior had chrome abounding too, and took care of that with an AJT kit.

As soon as the job scene opens up for me and I get some extra cash I'd love to have some replacement headlamps.

I made it with the Criket machine that I got my GF for Xmas last year. Honestly one of my favorite mods to date. ☠️

Oh, nice! Custom, personally made is the best.

I think my wife has a cricket. How'd you make it? Any special material or printing?

For sure! I've got a few machines for my side business, including a first generation Silhouette Portrait cutter I got back in 2010 and it still works great.
If you can import and manipulate Vector files, the options are nearly endless of what you can print out.

Honestly it's the only thing I have made with it. I found a TRD logo that I liked online (without the drop shadow), then measured the length/height of my OEM logo, and made it very close to that size. Then spent quite a bit of time getting the Hatebreed letters and skull correct. I just used some Oracle permanent vinyl that I found on Amazon for like ten bucks. Took me a few tries, but I got something I was happy with.
My next project is to grey out the TRD logos on my wheels. I know I can buy them, but figured I would try the Criket again. All in all, it was somewhat tedious, but an enjoyable project to have have something else that no one does..

Do some research online and you can likely pick up a small Silhouette or Cricut cutter fairly cheap.
Not sure how the Cricut cutter software is, but the Silhouette cutters do come with basic software to allow you to import JPG and other types of designs that will allow you to print, then cut out all sorts of stuff.

You're really only limited on what designs you can cut out by the width of the particular cutter machine and your computer/PC knowledge.
Both the Silhouette and Cricut cutters are open in the front and back so that as long as your design is as, or more narrow than the cutter you are using, you can print out any design as long as you want.
I printed out a cowl stripe for my previous Jeep that was probably +6' or more long and I incorporated a mountain scene into the driver's side as well, so you can go super long if you need.

If you make the mistake of going the jewelry route, that will become the threshold of expectation for the rest of your time together

The two aren’t mutually exclusive, it can be both! You all aren’t using your socks to keep your beers cool in a pinch?

Yeah, just changed mine out at 60k. Seemed ok. Old oil looked good, but new oil made the ride feel smoother. But that could just be a mind thing. I get that same feeling with every engine oil change as well.
