I also found out the reason why the EPA took so long to release the trucks for sale. There is no Auto start stop on this truck!

I just watched the latest TFL video with them towing in TX. They complained about the road noise, this truck is quieter than my 1974 tundra, so it's pretty quiet.

In addition, the 2022 hybrid tundra also suffered what I'll call Covid Quality problems. Lots of rattles, door closes were chintzy feeling, misaligned panels all over, lots of "stickers" in place of paint. The Taco I got paid attention to these things and looks really well put together so far.

I highly recommend the upgrade or premium package with the 14" screen. I have the upgrade package.

Well being that you are new to this forum, that would be considered a feature to many and probably worth the wait.

Another question about the adaptive cruise. Do you still get that super annoying popup display when another vehicle moves past/in front of you?

I'll have to check on that and report back. I do not recall being annoyed by any popups and that situation happened to me a couple of times on my trek back home. I _think_ a small image of a vehicle showed up in the middle of the indicating it detected a vehicle in front, but no full screen pop ups.

What is the payload rating on the sticker on your driver's side door? Thanks

Hence the reason I ignore TFL. Thanks very much for the information!

That specific number wasn't listed. Might have to pull out the manual. Attached is rating sticker. The other stickers just said a reduction in payload by 34 pounds due to accessories and the tire pressure sticker.

    4x4 off road.

There are like 25 pages in the manual dedicated to the math of GVWR, GAWR, GCVWR. Best I can tell from the manual and the sticker on the truck it's "cargo" is 450 lbs. The xtracab, sr & sr5 long bed do 800. However, this appears to be wrong, my sticker says 1200.

For reference, 450 lbs is about 22-25 2 cubic ft bags of mulch. About all the bed can handle, volume wise anyway. I still wouldn't go hauling gravel!

    screen grab from manual.
However, this seems to be wrong. 1200 is on my sticker which is close to 550 kg. It’s almost like they got the units confused.

Since you have the upgrade package, did it come with heated seats or only a heated steering wheel? The configurator is a bit murky

Seats and steering wheel. I haven't tested them yet. It was 65 today and didn't turn them on. I'll drive it more tomorrow, only have a couple hours behind the wheel so far! If I forget to report back, DM me!

Here's a sticker that is on my OR Premium. I wonder if this is why they were help up?

Great thanks! I just wanted to make sure because that’s a make-or-break for me. The online package list says only steering wheel which seemed strange

Anyone else disappointed with the 10 speaker audio? I think it's horrible and the only gripe I really have for my OR Premium, the rest is great for the first 20 miles. Need to take it on the freeway Monday on my commute to see how it does. It's pretty quiet inside and the turbo boost gauge doesn't give you a reading unless you mash on it.

No. That is SOP and light. Which just means you don't have much installed accessories.

Mine has the JBL premium audio and it seems okay to me. Do you have the base or upgrade/multimedia package?

I have the full upgrade that is part of the premium package, I made some adjustments to the tone and will keep playing with it. Glad you like it.

What accessories am I missing? I have the premium OR which has almost every option with the exception of dash cam and side and rear steps.

Not that you are missing anything. Just the yellow sticker corrects whatever happened after the white sticker was printed.

There is a debate what that is and when it happens. Every vehicle has it. Some have 0 printed.

There should be a payload sticker on the truck as well. It's usually the same sticker that tells you what PSI to put your tires at.

Toyota for some reason has decided to make this dumber than it needs to be by making you decipher some codes and do your own math.

Just tell me the payload Toyota!
