I've got a 2021 TRD OR, lifted, setup just the way I like it, absolutely love driving this thing offroad, love driving it around town, but once I have a need to drive it more than an hour, it's killing my tailbone.

Now, I have seat jackers, tried adjusting the power seats in every which way, both with and without the seat jackers on the front, and I'm considering maybe spacers for the rear so the seat will just be raised? I'm struggling, and will be driving 6+ hours each way next weekend, hoping it doesn't land me in a hospital.

I'm not old, 41 yrs, 6', 190 lbs, so not overweight, not toothpick thin, I was looking into a few options for the seat wedges, but then I lose my heated seats.

Any good ideas out there as I sit here in pain wishing I had bought a Tundra?

Liked this so much I got 2 of 'em.
Legs forward, indention in the middle is where the tailbone rests freely.
Everlasting Comfort - you can find them ( and similar designs ) online.

I’m 6’4 and could feel the metal bar across my lower back. No jackers. See If there is a recall for your seat. There might be a tsb for them also. I invested in some good quality seat covers that had a good amount of foam padding built in and it eliminated the feel of the bar. These were $285, front seats and arm rest. I think Toyota went skimpy on the seat foam.

Interesting, I may have to try one of those cushions first. I guess I'm just struggling because I can sit in our Honda Civic for 10-12 hours without any issues, and ride my motorcycle for 700 miles in a day, but can't drive.this Tacoma more than 2 hours.

Similar build 6' 2" 180 lbs, 71 year old with lower back history of bulged discs and other deterioation.
I can do about an hour before having to get out and stretch. Had to ride in the back seat a few times.
Can't go more than 15 minutes back there.
Yes, wish we had bought the Tundra also

I solved this problem by buying a Silverado. No regrets, should’ve done it years ago.
