My turn signals are fast after putting in LEDs. It also affects my sequential AM lights in the side mirrors. My fuse box labels are entirely cryptic, so I’m wondering what spaces (pic?) these go in. Diode Dynamics is sending me a comped load kit because of the issue but it’s wired and I have too much going on under the hood as far as wiring goes-for off road. Google sends one down too many rabbit holes…

no flasher relay on Tacomas. ECM controls flashing. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Those aren’t for your truck ….
Also, too much going on under the hood ? If diode is sending you the load capacitors, use the ones they send you .
The Amazon ones if they aren’t correct could toast something .

Turn signals seem to come out of the Combination Meter, not the Body ECM; but same difference, there is no flasher to replace.

I believe I have seen other posts here on TW detailing the problems with aftermarket LED lamps. Didn't pay much attention to the posts as I see no need.

Yeah, a lot of off road lights. Some even spliced together for consolidation/space purposes. Diode is sending load resistors but I have no idea how to wire them and their install video is vague to say the least. On a *** Ford no less…

Ah gotcha . I know the rear load resistors , or at least the ones I have , are an in-line connection. Not sure about the front ones

Headlights? Heads are DD S1 high and low with fans. There’s a video in that resistor link…

Oh sorry, I meant what headlight style do you have . So you swapped in led headlight bulbs so they must be halogen style headlights . . . Was just trying to get a better idea of what you had hooked up. Hopefully someone here has an idea of where to wire those. I didn’t know this until swapping headlight completely , but the hyper flash on Tacoma’s is a little sensitive and quirky

I guess my only concern now is getting the wires/colors right when doing the DD kit. You’d think Google would be an easy search. Uh, no… What color is ground and what’s power?? Never ending all this s*** with configuring a vehicle to desired specs.

Your original post only mentioned turn signals, why are headlights the topic now?

I’d remove them until you have a solid solution, these tricks seem to finicky to electrical damage.

I had just wondered what the whole set up was . I should have asked what trim level the truck was that would have been more helpful I guess

Yeah, @daveeasa is right. Parallel is the way to go. Positive/negative doesn’t matter as far as the resistor. In the headlight itself, ground is white with a black stripe, and your turn signal positive is tan on the drivers side, light blue on the passengers. So you’ll hook one wire from the resistor to tan or light blue, the other to the white/black, or you can go to the chassis for ground with it as well.

I decided I’m not wiring anything. Is anyone running LED turn signal bulbs that don’t hyper flash? “Anti” hyper flash bulbs are all over Amazon but reviews say they flash in Tacoma and other makes. Wtf

I have 2022 toyota that came with stock LED lights in every light fixture, except turn signals. I'm wondering why..
