only 25 years? pfft. Just waiting until I have to clean out Dad's house. We've been there 60 years & nobody will let me toss anything. I know full well nobody will be able to take time off to help when the day comes.

Congratulations on your house. Hope closing goes smoothly. I walked out on mine - LOL. Realtor got it done, called me with the news, asked if I wanted the keys tonight? Nah, I'll see you tomorrow. Hope the involved parties don't waste your time in the process like they did to me.

 

I got lucky at my parent’s house. 9 years ago a pipe broke in the kitchen while they were at the Cape. The result was a full house clearing with insurance paying everything that was tossed. That’s eliminated the heavy lifting that we’ll have to do in a few years (mom’s 90). Now my house… that’s a different story.

 

Morning all....been crazy busy at work. new job is going very well. previous chef REALLLLLLLLY goofed things up - kind of put the owners in somewhat of a hole. things are on the up now though!!!

Anyone ever replace their tie rods? Left front is seized so no alignment adjustability and outer seems loose at the ball end. Getting a little steering wheel shake occasionally. Had wheel balance rechecked today after tire install couple weeks ago. Might be better, time will tell. Wondering what is reasonable price for inner and outer replacement on just one side. Also, should both sides be done if one side is worn, other side probably not far behind. 254k on original OEM parts.

I had to do mine this past summer. My nuts on both tie rods were seized and I needed to measure and cut them. Then take them off of the knuckle and the steering rack. It actually wasn't a tough job. I grabbed OEM tie rods both inner and outer as well.

I put the speakers in my BIL's Jeep yesterday. R/F still not working. I'll look at it next week when I inspect his brakes.
I need to type up a review for crutchfield.com, the speakers don't fit as they say.

 

Morning all...... @super_white I'll believe the storm when I see it. It is always a bunch of hype and then crickets. Also thats surprising, usually Crutchfield is really good about that stuff.

 

Ordered matching kitchen stuff, knife set, utensil holder, napkin holder, towel paper holder, etc. Those items have been delivered and I tossed the old stuff.
New kitchen table and chairs assembled and set up. Did a bunch of reorganizing. It's nice when people don't ask you to look at their car and you can do stuff that you have been putting off.
