2.5" OR 3" lift still has TRD PRO skid plate

Who all still has 2.5" to 3" lift and was able to still keep there OEM TRD Pro skid plate on? I here some people loose the skid plate then I also see pics online with trucks still having the Pro skid plate on?

 

I have a 4” lift and the oem skid plate. Never been an issue.

 

Caused by diff drops and incompetent shops. Don't run a diff drop and its not even a concern. You can run a diff drop and pro plate as well but it makes contact with the mounts. So if you bash the plate, it bashes the diff upwards.

I don’t run a Diff Drop. I have an Elka 2.5 IFP lift with DK UCA’s.

I have an Icon RXT w/overload and 1” of my lift is tire height. 3.5” is the suspension.

I get off road a bit but my baby does not rock crawl so to speak so washouts and off camber fun is the only times things get funky.

save to say once I get sliders on I’ll likely trip into more “fun”.

Sounds good to me. I’m not super familiar with Ironman products so I can’t speak to them.

 

A suspension lift has no effect on how the skid plate is mounted. If you want one in there just bolt it on and go about your business.
