Maybe I exaggerated little bit, rough as in the cab shakes at idle, and a overall roughness vibration when accelerating

Had an intermittent grinding noise in our 2015 minivan with the 3.5. Not to freak you out but Toyota basically did a rebuild. I thought it was the water pump based on posts about it think it had something to do with the timing chain system. It just made it under warranty so it didn’t cost us anything, but I was surprised. That happened right after I bought my 2019 lol. No issues with my truck though. Also I think they had to remove the motor in the van because it’s transverse mounting in there.

I want to say my 2022 makes the same noises as your first video as did my 2021. Both didn't have the vacuum pump being offroads. :notsure:

I don't hear a grinding in your video, just the typical loud injectors/HP fuel pump noise.

I did, however I work in a very loud industrial environment so my hearing isn't as good as normal people.

Only thing you can do at this point is make an appointment at the dealer. Don't touch a thing. I would bet money they say it's normal, however it will be documented.

You got a problem there dude I don't think it's a good ideal to be driving that truck around the noise is not normal unless you don't mind walking. Time to pester the dealer.

Sounds like my '22 with the vacuum pump noise. The second video almost sounds like the vsv purge valve for the evap.

Good luck and update us with what you find out. I'm curious about the noise too.

I’m thinking it’s possibly the flaps inside the manifold. The Acis

My understanding is the plastic flap would not open at idle, only at higher rpms. Unless the stupid thing wouldn't closed all the way. But that would still trigger a CEL.
