It’s certainly a common affliction. Usually I remember when… but it’s disconcerting when even that bit of data has decayed.

Yeah, it's just disappointing that they couldn't get that last first down at the end of the 4th. That pretty much would have sealed the deal.

(Although, at the same time, the defense stood on its head for most of the game, but was absolutely awful on KC's last two drives.)

We need a competent rt tackle. That play on the 4yd line sucked. Losing Greenlaw didn’t help.

I ended up buying a replacement door handle for $9 from eBay. Installed it today and it works and now back to normal. Looks the the original door handle had a crack in the middle. This was the cause. The black looks kinda cool.

Muffed punt hurt the most. I guess they don't teach Guys to cover the ball anymore. Everyone wants to pick it up and be a hero. That gave KC their first TD on the very next play. Losing Greenlaw, a hobbled Deebo and Kittle didn't help, but even with injuries, it was a winnable game. Reid/Spags outcoached Shanahan/Wilkes. I am tired of Wilkes all out blitzes that never reach the QB.

Shit happens. They played hard. I don’t fault Ray Ray as he was reacting to a ricochet but that opened the door and we could never get it shut again.
    Muffed punt
    Blocked PAT
Warner getting left at LOS by Kelce
Blown blocking assignment on 3rd & goal in OT when Jennings was open.
Settling for field goals with time on the clock for KC to tie or win. It’s the one place where Kyle can be second guessed when facing a talent like Mahomes; playing it safe isn’t safe. Reminds me of how Sam Wyche felt.
They were right there and any of a few plays might have been the difference.

None of that matters. What matters is how they reacted to each of these conditions. It feels like they could have reacted better to each of their mistakes. Also, penalties didn't help. Finally, in OT it seems like they were playing as tho a FG was good enough.

All that's in the past. It was a great game. They should focus on that and head into next season knowing they can do it again.

I agree they played hard. A lot of small decisions and mistakes add up. Brock did something no other QB in the playoffs could do...lead his offense to more than 10 pts vs that Chiefs Defense which shut down Tua, CJ Stroud and MVP Lamar Jackson. Chiefs will be talking about this one for a while. It took them all of regulation and OT to barely eek out the win. I like what I see. The 49ers are set up for the next decade at QB.

Finally after selling off everything to offset the motor swap $$, slowly but surely building the first Gen back up. What kind of lug nuts are you guys using for those with steel wheels? I was told to use tapered aka acorn lug nuts.
