I found it using your same site; I wasn't aware of your RTX variant so must be pretty new

    I'm running a 4070 TI myself

The RTX A series are professional GPUs, not quite like the Quadros as they don't have disabled raster units. They've been around since the RTX 2000s were released and have only had units added but none replaced yet, they're mostly last gen cores.

@0xDEADBEEF Is that laptop work provided?

That's something that a professional Dell or Lenovo series would run

They're kind of nice in comparison to a quadro card these days since most software doesn't need a vector processing unit. And you can still play games with an A series

That's good stuff, sucks about the Lenovo

I never geeked out with laptops but after diving into a few Thinkpads, it's awesome to see how quickly one can expedite upgrading/repairing/replacing stuff on them

Can't wait to get the office setup; going to rock one of the Thinkpads with the old desktop and new desktop all in one desk

I love thinkpads, but I think Lenovo has lost its edge lately. My t43, t60 and t410 all work great. My x220 no longer detects its sound card - but it rode 10000 miles on the back of the motorcycle so I give it a pass. I still use it too

The old ones are like legos, so easy to work on

Nice, hear good things especially about the T60

Got a T42 and W530; that W530 is a lot faster than I give it credit for as I played much of my Fallout 3 on it

This weekend was eventful. Didn't plan on getting stuck in traffic with over a foot of snow in some spots on I-27 this morning. It was good to get some more seat time in inclement weather like that. Texans love to tailgate even more in awful weather.

Palo Duro Canyon was neat on Saturday though.

Oh and this guy thought it would be smart to tow a slammed Silverado at 10mph while parts were literally falling off the truck.

Those old i7s are still legit. The 220 has one and I never feel wanting for power on desktop tasks. The intel integrated graphics otoh

then again I ran an 8 series i7 on my other work machine against my i9 on a processing script for work and the i9 did it in roughly 30% of the time.
