Last time I was in snow at Pablo Duro someone jackknifed their rv on the climb out and blocked us all in the park

looks like a lovely time, get to play in the snow?

    Yeeeeep

Needs obviously dictate what one would need/use, but me using something as poorly optimized as Fusion, my I5 (13600k) is more than enough for the task because like a video game, Fusion relies on single thread performance

It only utilizes GPU resources for rendering/output so really, integrated graphics can cover that for what I do

I've tried talking some sense into the often asked question in our CNC group "WHAT COMPUTER DO I NEED" and I just facepalm when people suggest dedicated graphics, or an expensive I7 and other shit that won't work well on Fusion - more specifically the return on investment, diminishing returns

Naturally it's the boomers suggesting the latest and greatest because GeEk SqUaD sAiD sO :duh:

Yeah, it really depends on how complex your models get. I ran Inventor for tutoring on my Radeon t43…with 2 gb system ram. And it was fine for that, but load an assembly and it would choke.

Also I feel like most people barely grapple computer specs anyway :/

That's wild. How did they go about resolving that one? The park staff seemed pretty concerned about the storm and shutdown the trails right after we started our hike Saturday. We chose to ignore this since we heard it secondhand and could feign ignorance. The park had mostly cleared out by the evening. First snow of the winter for me since we've avoided it so far in San Angelo.

Oh and this BMW was pretty neat. Apparently an AWD E34 525iX option existed outside the US.

I get my morning walk in, that's about it. Running at 4:30am in my neighborhood is suspicious.

I've been getting up at 4 lately, it's now starting to mean I wake up before my 6am alarm on my own, and sleeping until 8 feels like a real luxury. I should see if I can shift my hours at work to take advantage of it rather than my current line of spending an hour just sitting in bed or painting in the other room.

It's a nice bonus of getting up early for sure if your work allows it. Mine doesn't really care much about the hours we keep as long as it adds up to the normal weekly amount. Sleeping until 8 feels too long these days most of the time.

The problem is I am a bit inconsistent. Some nights I am in bed by 10, others I'm up till 1am and that makes it hard. We have made shift changes at work so I think if I shift my schedule the only downer would be missing some of those 4pm meetings, but not like those are productive to begin with.

4pm meetings? They have to know that isn't a particularly advantageous time to do anything but announce that it's time to go home.

I feel like running (in running gear) is less suspicious than walking lol.

I put light up collars on my dogs and wear a high-vis

Tell me about it. Just as terrible as the noon meetings. All I can think about is lunch. I swear right now I have more meetings than actual work. Then we have meetings on why we are behind on work...

No idea, they just came around and checked if we had enough supplies to hang out for a while.

Looks like a really unique experience though, that place is very different with snow on the ground
