Building on what some others have done, I've made a dog bed and ramp for the back of my 2023 Tacoma Off Road. I thought someone might be able to use what I've done.

2 pieces of plywood: 18"x48". Sanded and stained them.
Used gorilla glue spray to attach yoga mat cut to 17"x47".
Attached two strips of yoga mat to bottom.
Cut anti-slip tread guards to 12". Cut handle with jigsaw.

Bought two Dewalt TStack II tool boxes: $34.
(Good for storing first aid kid, straps, dog stuff, etc.)
    Gorilla Dog Bed: $137 16"x46"x4" (gorilladogbeds.com)

I use two rolled up towels between the bed and the seats to keep it from sliding around too much.
I like having the extra storage and it's easy enough to throw the whole thing in the bed and put the seats down if I need to.

    Nice work.

I did a half-bed, use it to put my Dometic CFX35 on, and then set my Jackery 1000-Pro in the footwell behind the driver seat.
Small slot under leaves room for 'stuff', I usually store camera 'stuff' under that, lenses and what not in tupperware.

The Dometic works like a charm and the Jackery is bad-azz.

If/when I take the dogs out I'll lay an old blanked on it and strap the pups in.

I like the idea of the toolboxes for support. They appear to fit perfect and make for a nice place to store 'stuff'.

And I like that ramp too.
