I have really long legs and a regular torso haha. Anything except some American sedans and most american trucks I have to have the seat back as far as it will go for my legs

I think my leg-torso ratio may be a little higher than typical. I do know that in sedans like my S60 and in SUVs it makes having a telescoping steering wheel an absolute must. Without it, my back gets all sorts of fucked up trying to lean forward.

Somehow, in the Taco, it just works out. There’s just no more dynamic range left

Holy fuck dude, the guy legitimately sold them like that?

I mean I know a strong weld doesn't look good but a strong weld also doesn't look like that

Dude didn't even tie in his beads (found the old for sale thread) and the product looks so unfinished...people paid for that shit?

I feel you there, the taco works, but I wish my corolla telescoped. The cruiser is perfect since it seats you up and off the floor. I did have to add a shifter extension to the taco though and that thing is a godsend.

I didn't see the original, but I don't like a shock hoop having a perpendicular joint right where force is applied.

I'm not aware of how the kit works in place, I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the cold fat caterpillars and lack of tie-ins

I'm far from a pro, but I have a moral compass to not charge people for dog shit

You don't enjoy watching grown men in tight spandex put their hands all over each other? What's the matter with you?
Everytime I get in a vehicle after you I can barely reach the steering wheel, much less the pedals.

You talking about that shitty joint being in shear vs. tension/compression?

Yeah, who builds a hoop that isn't a single piece first of all, but given that he couldn't... why would you chose to design it so all your load is on a joint like that.

Yeah, pretty much nothing about that would make me feel confident.

Nothing about any of it inspires any confidence, and I'm far from even 'designing' any shock components...which is why I don't offer any to begin with

Now I'm curious, what's the axle housing diameter on a 2nd/3rd Gen Taco?

Tube also 3" like 1st Gens?

One of the bigger local lots here had some outgoing 4wd SR models in the high 20s. I thought that was pretty good. Still don't want one. SR5 Premium Runners are 48, which boggles the mind.
Not too into the new Tacomas. I guess time will tell, but just seem sorta meh for the money. Did you drive one?
