Exactly. I mean on paper it seems slow but in reality to get divorced prep and sell a house and cut ties in right at 3 months is pretty damn efficient.
Built a table, she built some terrible "built in" shelves while I was away in the fall, I lay for them to get removed in order to sell the house lol
Not going to do a garage sale when it's 20 degrees out and the house is 15 miles from where I live. Foooook that.

    Stuff. Also things.
I had a storage unit in two different states for a while there.

Doing that last bit of editing (to the dumpster), relocating the good stuff to the new house, and shutting down the rentals for both units felt really nice.

@m3bassman , among the things that went straight to the trash were all of my ex’s med school notes. Felt great giving zero fucks about chucking that and a bunch of other shit she left behind and being truly DONE with her.

It is a great feeling, one of the best. The sense of freedom and peace is one a lot don't understand.

I think I finally hit my ceiling today with blower motor noise, gotta fix it this weekend.
I've tried to be zen about it. Lasted about 6 months though, not bad.

    Combination of zen and lazy**

I can tell I'm not listening to stuff loud enough when I can hear the blower motor in the taco over everything else. Usually happens at low speed because tires do a good job covering it up on the highway

I'm a weirdo and I like driving a lot with no music. My tires are getting louder and louder as they age, and the blower sounds like baby birds waiting for worms. Seat belt hinge squeaking, ashtray rattles open because I keep change in it. Its a fuckin orchestra in there.

Speaking of tires, any standout recs for a new AT? Was going to go ST Maxx. They're running higher than everyone else, figured I'd ask. Never tried Falken or Toyo but heard good things. Never tried Firestone either, their Destination XT is lighter than the rest I've seen, kinda interesting.

They're a contender. Usually I don't complain, but the Cooper is $283, everyone is closer to $200-215.
