I am having issues with the clutch start issues with my Truck, clutch start switch replaced no help, wiring diagram shows a diode in the circuit, it also shows a letter D6, when you look it up its a connector, must have something in it, Toyota says buy a harness, NOT, there has got to be a location and part number for the diode. I am stumped.
    Thanks all.

Here is the print note diode in the middle of the print.

When you say switch has been replaced, you mean the one at the bottom of the pedal travel? Does getting into 4LO work? Unless it's just a third gen thing, getting into 4LO requires pressing the clutch all the way down, so that functionality could be another way to narrow things down.

There is a switch on your clutch arm that has to be made in order for it to start without using the CSC button. Usually, the bolts are loose that hold the switch on, just tighten them up and try it.

So i removed the switch and jumped the pedal connector, no change, looking at the print the diode has to be open, which would explain no joy on the switch. the connector at the diode has a part number however no part number for the diode. The diode has to be open.
    Thanks.

The switch you refer to is non adjustable and installed in the pedal frame, with a 2 pin plunger switch with one nut thats either all the way on or loose, it has to go full travel before it makes the circuit for the start relay to close. Look at the wiring diagram i provided.
    Cheers Jet.

Any pictures of the diode? Could it just be cut out and a new one spliced in like below? Or is it some custom type part that only OE would really work?

It is quite hard to see the diode in the photo because we can't zoom in, but I do see it. It's a bit above the connector above the switch.

Well never mind, clearly I’m getting no where here, zoom on the picture, also wiring diagrams are not literal in position as shown in a single dimension thanks for all the opinions. When I figure it out, I will post results and solutions.
    Cheers guys

Best I can do for a location, I can look on mine tomorrow and see if I can find it.

Your picture sucks. We can’t click on it and zooming is super blurry.

I asked for a pic of the diode itself because I thought you located it in the truck and were looking at it to come up with ideas for a replacement.

I saw this thread and it did not advise of a location, I am going to rip, down the truck tomorrow it will not beat me.
DM93 great clear pic my manual would need to be expanded.
Thanks Guys will advise tomorrow on results.

Well once agin the human prevails, the wire on the diode side of the switch was broken and held on by insulation so looking up there in poor light i could not detect it! But i found it all connected!
Thanks for the support and ideas!
