    Morning all:

11" here and still snowing. It's a heavy snow and I have another tree down that I may need to clean up :annoyed: plus some large pine branches that came down where I back up to turn around. While outside I heard a tree crash down in the woods, at least I don't need to clean that one up!
Looks like the snowblower is going to get a workout!
So far power is still on, couple of quick of and Ons and losing the cable here and there for short periods :fingerscrossed:!

Yesterday I bought a new battery at NAPA for the Chevy truck. If I ordered it online, and paid for it online, it was 20% off ($42), if I order it online and choose to pay at the store, there was no discount. If I chose to pay with PayPal it showed up as $10.00 more, if I paid with the credit card it was the price that I had figured out before ordering it with no surprises, WTH! The one that surprised me was the $10 extra if paying with PayPal, I use PayPal quite a bit and never saw an added fee on any of my other purchases.

Nice area. I hope you like taxes. I have lived in Montgomery county since 1975. Lord you’re going to hate the traffic. Crime is on the rise. Good luck with house hunting. Let me know if you need anything. I live about 10 miles from there.

I appreciate the offer and will let you know.

Our daughter and her fiancé moved to The Colonnade late last year and want us in the general area as well; once we saw how nice the complex was and how we could easily walk to 90% of the things we currently drive to here in New Hampshire, we were pretty much sold on buying into the complex as well. As for traffic, I currently work from home, so non-issue there, however, I'm being courted by Google for a new position (which has yet to even be posted), so if I accept an offer from them I'll need to work out of Reston a few days per week; not a huge issue as I will be able to pick my commute times.

Funny thing about taxes, the property taxes in the area seem really cheap compared to up here, and by that I mean literally half. That said, income tax and sales tax are something which I haven't had to pay for over 20 years, so that will be a bit of an adjustment.

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Rinse and repeat for today, but I think I'm going to Lowes and lay in the Cypress mulch supply. Front got cleaned enough to put it down before weeds take up the space. Another quick errand, and go from there. Got a lot done, and 10,000+ steps in, so maybe that's why I'm a little slow!
