    Contribution to the prize box.

I don't know where the "Good Enough WoodWorking" magazines are but here's an almost pristine copy of "Fine WoodWorking" Tools & Shops issue from 2005 with a fascinating article on 14.4V drills!

The house is booked for March 5 for national security reasons. Or if we get moved to the winery again. Then it will be free for use. It comes with a mini split HVAC, no running water or bathroom.

Oh, no, no, no, my friend. There are 120 pages in this glorious periodical so you have SIXTY luck prize recipients!

Or the same person 30 times then you get bored and just sen them the rest all at once. But only the odd pages.

I hear you, I'm a sucker for punishment, I enjoy the challenge of trying to fix things.

Here's yesterday's project from a family friend. They have an appliance garage in their kitchen with an overhead opening door that needed adjustment, and they couldn't adjust it properly. I went over and looked at it. Of course it was some goofy thing I've never seen before. First thing I noticed was all the screws had ripped out of the door, so there was that. :annoyed: The reason they couldn't get it lined up properly was that one of the hinges had bent linkage arms. I brought the door and the hinge home. The door I filled with wood and fiberglass body filler. I straightened out the linkage and tried to operate the hinge. Instead of moving in a linear direction, the linkage went sideways and defaulted to bending every time I tried it. I ended up tacking a tiny piece of steel along the length of the linkage to keep it straight.

I only took one picture of the hinge closed to compare it vs. open.

After I was done, everything worked and I was able to get it lined up again. I probably should have just told them to call a professional and get new hinges, but ... :anonymous:

@StayinStock i have a whole bunch of solid maple sawdust and wood chips for the pantry. I will use a bit of the sawdust to make wood filler (happy little accidents( but I will magnanimously donate the rest. It can be reassembled into any shape you desire!

What are the prize items for this time?? Or is if just stock piling for the next time it's needed? Will the weazel still be fresh when it's received? Is the candy scent still lingering in the packaging? Is there a paper ruler insert in the magazine?

You fellas really know how to impress!:thumbsup::fistbump:
