I used a Holley filter adapter and filter relocation mount. Then I had a local shop build some high pressure hoses and mounted it in the fender well under the battery. It worked great for awhile, until the adapter on the block loosened up.

If theyre spin on they probably will. Pretty much any 3/4-16 oil filter will fit on but you're asking about larger ones. Doesnt the tundra use the yzzd3 that everyone uses?

Technically the tacoma one is the yzzd1, tundra is d3. It's just taller is all. I've been running the d3 for a long time now.

Did an oil change today and noticed that the lower radiator hose was damaged and needed replacing. Got new hoses, probably change the radiator in a year or two but looking good for now.

Posted this in the “street truck” forum but figured I’d share over here as well. Quick info-
This past weekend I was able to get with my bro to wrench on the taco a bit. New bed cover, a quickly fabricated spoiler to help with Down force for Auto-Cross season. Replaced reverse sensor so reverse lights work again. Took them out for a little cruise afterwards. First time the 2 tacos have been together in quite some time. Took mine out for a cruise today after work, stopped to give her a wash and some fresh fuel. Hope y’all’s week is going great so far.

That looks like the same eBay bed cover I've got. Did the included clamps work alright for you? Mine needed some creativity--the clamp would bottom out on itself before contacting the bed rails.

It sure is the eBay one. Only modifications we had to do was cut slits into the bed-liner so the connecting brackets could grab the metal in the bed. Other than that it was pretty straight forward. Will see how long it holds up. The build quality is definitely decent for the price.

Nice. Maybe the updated the clamps.

Agreed that it's pretty good for the price. I do get frustrated with the latch but not frustrated enough to pay 3-4x as much for a better one.

The latch can be a bit tricky for sure but thankfully with the spoiler we fabricated, it allows the tailgate and bed cover to fit super tight. I completely agree with you that it’s not enough to pay 3-4xs more. My bro has a pricier one on his taco but he prefers the design of the eBay one compared to his. His is a bit more low profile but the eBay one is surprisingly a bit more beefy and stout.

Mind linking me? I've been trying to find one of these for my double cab and have been striking out everywhere, haven't checked ebay that much though. No love for the 5' baby bed anymore I guess.

Only one i've found is this guy, but I always get sketched out when it's a 3rd gen in the thumbnail
