Good morning PA. I think this weekend i'll complete my move and start over-nighting north-of-the-(md) border. I am really looking forward to the smalltown lifestyle.

:pccoffee:  PA peeps/wannabes/late winter survivors. We officially got 10" here but it looked less because it was the consistency of concrete. A "heart attack" snowfall. The snowblower auger was constantly clogging. My neighbor blew his snowblower up! The auger popped loose on one end, he didn't notice, burned up the motor.

Crazy how different the snowfall totals were across the eastern part of the state.

The Tacoma is back just in time to get it covered in salt. The 4Runner is down, requiring a left front wheel bearing (probably not caused by the squirrels :) ). Just swapped the trucks at the dealer.

Nice. where abouts? I run Route 10 down into Bel Air (from PA) quite often and it's really nice and quiet in that area.

I'm near stewartstown. I dont' yet know Route 10, but are you saying it's nice and quiet near Bel Air? I see Bel Air as busy, congested and a place I typically want to drive around :)

anyone in york county recommend a place to get the dreaded state vehicle inspection? Having to get TheMan to inspect my car every year is the worst thing about moving to PA imo. But it's where I live so....

Also - might they gig me for a TPMS light that's on (I think one of the sensors battery died, because all tires are at the same psi)?

The inspection is a pain in the ass and the emissions test is worse, especially since it's only for certain counties based on population and industry from something like 35 years ago. Brand new vehicle? Needs an emissions test that cost 40 some dollars. BS.

I hope PA sees the fallacy of these kinds of things and changes their regulations.

Make sure to go over your truck good after you register your truck in PA. You'll have to unfortunately start getting annual inspections. Not sure if your county does emissions, if so you'll have to do that before you get the safety inspection. I'll warn ya some places get really picky about modified trucks. If you lived here I may or may not have a guy... :anonymous:

EDIT: You seem to have posted about this after I saw it. York county has emissions. :puke:

Or I sell my truck to my daughter in OK and just borrow it from her long-term.
