Nice. I will laugh at how bulbous this thing looks when I roll up next to you in a 24" Tacoma Trailhunter.

And people will laugh when they see that someone spent 70k on a Tacoma.

Nah, they really won't. Tacoma's historically have held their value. The Canyon, however....

Tundras do too but overpriced is overpriced. High option tundras are discounted up to 10k right now and dealer still can't sell them. These tundras are close to the same price as a trailhunter..

70k + for a midside truck is silly.

Look at the used market on colarado, and canyons, they actually hold their value pretty well. Just as good as tacomas in my area. Few year old ones selling for mid 30s. Same as the tacoma...

People on here were making fun of the new colarado for having a noisy rear diff. Shit... 3rd gens have had noisy diffs since they came out. My 23 makes noise too lol. At least Gm is trying to fix it.

Toyota Tacoma used to be an affordable basic reliable truck. Now they are just the same as all the other mid-size manufacture with a higher price tag for no reason.

Did you say 24 inch? Is that their latest version. 24 inches would make any truck seem bulbous around it.

Trailhunter, doesnt that version come out in like July? People will be looking at the 25 inchers by then and be laughing at the trigger happy kids that bought the 24 incher.

How quickly will the edit come...

How can a $70K Tacoma possibly hold its value? There’s no way any sane person is paying anywhere near that for a used midsize truck.

Relative to other cars. Of course it’s not going to sell for 70K used.

What I find weird is people buying Colorados/Canyons/{insert any other truck but a Tacoma} lingering on a Tacoma orientated forum trying to justify their purchase. To me, it sounds like buyers remorse.

Buy the car that you want.

Or they became friends with people here. There are plenty of people here who no longer own Tacomas.

I'm only here because I was pretty sure I was getting a 4G so why not join. Pretty sure I'm not now for a variety of reasons but I'm still interested in the truck. I drive a Hyundai Kona N and don't even read their forum.

Couldn't be further from the truth. I'll be sticking around for a bit even though I purchased an AT4. I still have my 2015 Tacoma.

Some of us aren't so brand loyal that we can't consider the possibility of ever leaving Toyota or that another manufacturers truck could be better...

It is possible to like both trucks for different reasons and contribute to more than one forum...

Couldn’t be further from the truth. I’ve owned multiple cars/brands. When I do buy a car that isn’t a Toyota Tacoma, I don’t post about it here.

What’s wrong with discussing and comparing other vehicles?

I purchased a 4R TRD ORP W/KDSS brand new in 2020, it's my third 4R and best one yet ! KDSS makes a huge difference in handling, everything on suspension is heavier. I just hit 25K miles in my 4R after 3-1/2 years
It's been rock solid, no issues whatsoever. Paid $42,500, I'll keep for at least ten years then maybe get another one if they don't suck. I can see myself getting rid of the old 07 Camry XLE V6 and replacing with a 4th gen Taco, closing in on 200K mi only wear and tear items replaced and regular maintenance.Still runs like a top, uses no oil, no leaks, Ice cold AC, everything still works.
I really like the nimble size of the new Tacoma, would definitely get double cab with 6' bed.

Comparing? Lol, this is another shit on the 4th gen thread because it’s too expensive.

The GMC looks good from the front and side, but their big ass logo on the tailgate looks stupid.

We can’t compare the price against other similar vehicles?
If we don’t talk about the high price will it somehow make the high price not exist?

A lot of closed minded lemmings on this forum. Pride before honesty at all costs.
