Thanks. Like the black Pro Comps on my SSM but think the black is overplayed…

Can't speak for the fan, but I have found it odd that carports are such a common thing and there are so few garages in states in the south and bible belt. I would think with the heat, humidity, and creepy crawlies that want to kill you that garages would be a more common thing.

Here’s what I did today. Really won’t mod it too much as I will be using it for sales calls and business appointments etc.

Permitting issues maybe? Idk. most people in California turn those garages into extra rooms and park all over the street because there is a boat and/or rv in the driveway.

The carport is handy when it’s dumping buckets of rain and we are unloading/loading the cars/trucks. I'm not sure if the fan is common but it really helps keep the insects away from the door and lights in the summer. time will tell how long the blades hold up staying straight with the humidity.

Reason #365 why I will never go to California, maybe it will brake off and Colorado will be ocean front.

Put it up for sale on Sunday. Got it sold on Tuesday. Getting it ready for the new owner.

Tough decision to let it go, but it's paid for and with the proceeds, the wife and I want to pay off a few thing. Ready to be debt free this year and this was one step in that direction. Nice owning it for the short time we have. This was our 4th Toyota off-roader, one FJ, two T4Rs and a Taco. I'll be back in another Toyota more than likely. Prob an import Prado J95 or an older LC. Looking at a Nissan Patrol Y61 as well. We'll see...

I paid up for the one with suction cups. Can transfer b/w vehicles and even use in rentals. Bright idea to use in rental car from DAL to Goodfellow was a fail, even though TX toll roads were supposed to accept SUNPASS (admittedly my reading comprehension is < 30% (as further evidenced by neglect for the title of this ’thread’)). Hert$ passed along the 8.95 tolls and 9.95 handling fee. Lesson learned…...

Found another good use for my orbital sander. Polished the windshield (after cleaning it good and taping off rubber trim).
Used Griots garage polish and these pads
    upload_2024-2-14_20-18-7.jpg
It’s super clear now and no more wiper blade chatter either!

Kept the sander on low speed. Learned the hard way it’s best to turn off the sander while still on the glass to prevent polish splattering everywhere while it slows to a stop.
