That is very exciting!! It’s a kit specifically for the GX470? So it would fit the V8 4Runners too then. XAT has been selling the Bullit kit, mostly in OZ I think. Do you have any more info other than just whipple??

 

Yesssss... Honestly one of the reasons I haven't committed to a 2uz swap in the Minitruck was the lack of boost.

So we need to start sourcing a 1GR for you and a 2uz for me. Or.. maybe two 2uz's? Let's swap in a couple boosted 2uz's

 

I have always dreamed about the 2uz in the X, I hear the mpg gains are niiiiice

 

Destroyed both inserts from urd tool.
Broke a power steering pulley installer.
Stripped out threads in snout.
Pulley is on.

Please tell me I didnt push it on too far.

Another option if anyone is looking, AFE 76mm is on "sale". Not quite cheap but less than regular

 

If you don't have the Throttle Body and do not want to make your own gasket that's not too bad. I think I paid about $300 picking up a used Throttle Body, Paper Gasket material to make my own gasket and a used TB Adapter. It also does not scream I have a modded TB with URD all over it. I could prob get away with leaving it on if that was not there. Right now i have to remove that damn thing every 2 years.

 

I need to find the thread...but I read that these aFe TBs trip CELs after a while. Buyer be careful.

The URD tool sucks and should probably stop being recommended. There are stronger pulley puller/installers out there for this s/c. I've broken two two and had two get stuck in the snout and had to retap.
