Has anyone converted the partial tan interior in the SR to full black?

Looking to do this in the least tacky way possible. Does anyone have experience with replacing all of the interior stuff to black parts?

I don't think it would be terribly difficult, the hardest part would I think would be the headliner and the part where the pillars intersect with the dash? Thanks guys

 

Count your blessings! I’d give anything for a light tan interior in my TRD.

Get parts from the junk yard, the whole interior is essentially snapped together.

 

I wouldn't mind if it was all tan haha. It's only the headliner and things that bolt on to it, everything else in the interior is black or gray.

 

I hear ya. Even the brown seats in the Limited are surrounded by black interior, they definitely could have done better with the interior options in these trucks. Good luck in your quest!

 

I hate the gray/beige headliner in my SR5...it's impossible to keep clean.

I've never seen an access cab with the black headliner

Also...have you ever tried removing a headliner without messing it up and then installing a new one without creasing it? Cause I have...and it ain't fun

 

hmm, dont think I have seen a black access cab either. But access cabs are about as common as leprechauns here.

 

haven't had issues with cleaning it yet, it's just butt ugly that all the colors aren't the same.
Id rather have the old man spec white truck with complete tan interior then mismatched everywhere.

 

My 2020 AC came with and all black interior. Everything. With the usual chrome tidbits here and there.

I don't think so, They are looking for the tan that comes in the limited.
My truck is other the opposite end of the trim spectrum haha. Thank you!
