I looked for a 5' equivalent a while back, thinking I might be able to put it behind a 12" tool box. I also didn't find anything that looked good to me. The 6' bed is just much more common since essentially the same bed was used from the 80's all the way to 2004. The 1st gen 5' was only made for four years, and only for a fraction of the trucks made in those years.

My factory battery hold-down bracket rusted away some years ago. The aftermarket one (first pic) was better than nothing, but not by much. Finally made one from some flat stock that should last the life of the truck.

Looks like a pretty good match for the shifter plastic. I’ll post some pictures of my steering wheel once I get the cover on.

I have one of the aluminum ones, and it struggles to keep my battery in place. I need something that will secure it better.

What kind of battery are you using there. Mine had a little trouble too and a stuck a 1/4" piece of wood under the batter to space it up. A lot of the AGM batteries are a little short

Most sit a touch short, I have spaced them up as well as put 1/4" stall mat under the tiedown to it compresses and grips on batteries that don't fit quite right.

That's why the Odessy batteries had the adapter plates, they go on the bottom to lift it up higher.
