I've been looking for the past year or so for options as far a getting a shell for my trokita, I've recently found out that the BYND bed cover company is getting sued for some infringement and that's what I was leaning towards. That being said anyone have any good recommendations? Or if u go with used what are some things to look out for? Thanks in advance. :)

After reading that thread, I think I'm gonna be going with an Alu-Cab shell. Beats fiberglass in material and steel in weight, I'll probably have to use am Add-a-Leaf or maybe some better bumpstops to mitigate as much damage to anything if I bottom out, I'm excited to get this "build" started lol, thanks @OZ TRD for the re-direction.

I don’t think it’ll be so bad that you’ll need to get springs right away, especially not empty. Enjoy your new top. The aluminum ones look cool!

i've had my alucab contour, no windows, on for a couple months. i don't feel the need for springs yet. i'll be putting my rtt on sometime in april and that might push me over the edge for springs or leafs or idk, a whole new suspension?

In my (uneducated and extremely inexperienced) opinion probably could get away with leafs lol, but I mean a new suspension would be pretty rad.

    Check build thread!
I had an aluminum topper for a while- if you are going off-road, you’ll want leafs.
