Tesla has an issue going on with too many unsold cars. I posted here a few months ago about how they have hundreds of cars stored/hiding in an old mill facility here. Today I drove by their dealership building and the lot is now completely full with cars and the lot for the stores next door is also full of Teslas. Some major sales should be coming soon.

The Cyber Truck was/is/will be a disaster for Tesla. Musk has too much pride and ego for to admit it, though. I'll rumble along in my outdated yet cherished V6 for a few more years until the battery thing sorts itself out. Might even get a cheap BEV commuter and just drive the truck when needed.

There are so many weird things in the Cyber Truck that seem like they were designed that way for no other reason than to just be different. Like selecting gears by swiping on the screen or pushing buttons on the ceiling.

As of now it seems Tesla is selling every single Cyber Truck they make. Bottleneck is in manufacturing, not demand. Besides, even if demand drops off a cliff all Tesla needs to do is slap a "normal" truck body on the existing chassis and it'll sell like hot cakes once again.

Bro have you guys seen the Cyber Truck UCA’s? What a joke. Below is one pictured that failed on road recently.

Without commenting on the design of the UCA's, the picture you posted is from somebody attempting to mount and run tracks on a Cybertruck. Definitely not on road, and definitely not within design parameters for the suspension...

The hate generated from a Bluetooth speaker on the new 4Gen did exactly just that. So yes hate can be generated from a single issue...lol

That Youtuber runs a high profile, high drama, high cost, big crew, recovery oriented channel. He will bring in helicopters and huge big rigs to make recoveries that Trailmater does with his two vehicle crew. So, take whatever he reports with skepticism.

I'm actually subscribed to his youtube channel because heavy equipment and helicopters are my jam. Besides, nothing to be skeptical about them saying they attempted to put tracks on a cybertruck and ended up crushing some control arms.

Just saying any Youtuber's job is to get eyeballs.

Tesla is a car company just like Amazon was a book company or Google was a search engine company. I think car's are not Teslas end game, so operating at a loss to gain data, infrastructure, and drive technical advantages is fine for them.

Didn't Tesla say something about their current end game was in AI robotics? I know they started releasing info on a robot in development the last year or two.

Here’s what this asshat dealer (Vandergriff) says about TSRP. They are advertising the truck at $56k. It’s actually $66,000.

But they're not a software company, they are an auto manufacturer and clean energy supplier. i.e. Solar panels and battery backup systems.

To build on this, Tesla owns and manages the largest (by output) lithium ion battery factories in the world. The largest of which is right here in the US.

As the others have said AI and robotics is also a big part of their portfolio. The trillions of data points they have been collecting with Teslas driving around is theoretically going to give them a big leg up. Time will tell.
