In my experience quoted prices are typically before any surcharges, taxes, or fees are included. It's never the OTD price unless they explicitly state that on the ad, which is pretty rare.

well thats lame... whats the point of marking it down if they then charge the same cost as it was... i do wonder if i could at least get it down to 5k before the stupid charges..

that's how they get ya. It would still be a discount from the original MSRP, which is probably the psychology they're banking on.

Ya just kinda sucks... I don't wanna pay 6k for a dirt bike but shit man all the bikes out here are thrashed to high hell... There was a 19 yz125x that had 50 hours and it looked like it flew off a mountain and then was listed.. the Midwest destroys dirtbikes it seems

I wouldn't pay MSRP with it being 2 years old at this point. They need to move the "old" bike for the new ones. Let'em keep it if they want to add bullshit charges. I've been contacting dealers within 500 miles trying to find one that doesn't have the insane markups even on the Chinese Papio CL's. I just absolutely refuse to pay over MSRP.

Ya I think it would still be under tbh since MSRP is like 7ish? But still sucks on a 2 year old bike it would only be slightly off...

do any of you track-goers know much about switching to GP/Reverse shift?

Looking into doing it on my BMW, but I'd like to avoid replacing the entire rearsets. Found an HP4 part to be able to switch to reverse shifting, not sure if it would work on my non-HP4 but I can't see any reason it wouldn't?

Also not sure how that affects the quickshift and autoblip functions...if any of you are able to weigh in. No worries if not I know it's a pretty specific issue

I've always ran gp shift. Usually just as simple flipping the knuckle on the gear lever, sometimes a little more complicated with needing rear sets. If it's an inline QS you need to swap from push to pull (or vice versa), but if it's all in the brain of the bike "shouldn't" matter.

It's almost impossible to swap my bike with available parts (at least affordably), so I've accepted it's time to reset my brain and go back. It takes a minute to get used to, but on the track makes way more sense

I looked into how simple it would be, as it seems the 2015 models are as easy as flipping the knuckle, however some design element of the 2014 and previous years means it's not as simple. Definitely makes more sense on track without a doubt, that's what spurred me to look into it.

I saw that, however I'm unclear whether it will work on OEM rearsets, or if I would need to buy the Woodcraft rearsets...it says they wouldn't fit on a Standard S1K, but would fit on an HP4. i did find this however which seems like it should do the trick...a dealership confirmed it would work on a standard S1000RR, which I'm questioning now since Woodcrafts adapter only works on one but not the other.

IDK i might be wildly overthinking this lol

Ya it is but it's a good one! I just don't want another old bike for trail usage I don't want it to break or have issues on the trail plus modern tech lol

Yesterday I decided to weld the O2 bung on my exhaust for the Monkey. It’s all in preparation for the 143cc kit, piston and cylinder, aRacer mini x with Auto tune , high pressure oil pump,150cc injector.
It’s replacing a stock bore high compression piston, dhm cam (keeping it with the 143 kit) , stock injector.
So today went out to the garage and said I will just file fit the rings and get things ready to install. I was going to do some port work to the head (like I did for the grom) but decided not to. I don’t think that will make that much of a difference at this power level. So I said just take off the head, cylinder and piston. Long story short it’s all done. The bike fired right up using the stock ecu with a flash for the cam and high compression piston that was replaced. Then I got the aRacer ecu up and running on the app. I uploaded a map and now just need to do some auto tune sessions.

I think it's priced about right? I feel like the 300xcw's are always priced high, but it is a 15 year old bike with some issues and questionable ability to get plated.

Yea but Yamaha has not really changed the YZ 125 for many years. My son has a 2006 that has been rebuilt three times now and still rips. It is basically the same bike as the new ones. I would try to get them down to $5K or pay asking and see if they will remove the BS fees?

At 132 hours if not having been rebuilt I'm sure the top end at a minimum needs it. Plus the electric starter not working is problematic, and if you need a new starter part for KTM and not cheap assuming you can do your own work.

so out here its not hard to get plated. have a title that was or is road legal, headlight, tail light, turn signals and horn thats it lol

i think its priced okay id like to try and shoot for 3500 if i can but it does come with a lot of stuff but i agree it is an older bike
it was rebuilt at 80 hours and still has 160psi on compression and runs good he said. the electric start sucks but its not a big deal tbh i can fix that or just use the kick start.

oem starter is 100 but other brands are about 50 so not terrible and id just do the work my self i dont take my stuff places lol
