I decided to install these lights so I can have a chance to react hopefully in time to slow down..

There's a stretch of highway about 25 miles thats very dark that I drive daily that's deer infested...I plan on turning them off when I see oncoming traffic...which is very seldom.

These lights shine about 500 yards down the road and are VERY VERY BRIGHT....

Do you have lights coming from below the front bumper? Any daytime photos?

Yes..have them mounted below bumper...it's where the original tow hooks were at...it doesn't look bad at all..but my truck is lifted about 5" with extra tire height and 3.5" lift...I would not install them under bumper at factory height if you plan on offroading...

My truck will never be 4 wheeling offroad...it's a mall crawler....WELL MALLS ARE DEAD AROUND HERE...SO it's a pavement prince!!!!.

be careful with adding to much foreground lighting, it can make objects appearing from the side seem to 'pop out of nowhere', it can also constrict your pupils more, which will lessen your night vision. should also focus on side lighting to try to see the deer on the sides of the road.

It definitely looks intense with the lights but I’m sure it is useful when off-roading at night.

honestly I have yet to have a deer run out infront of me at night with my light bar on. I think they get blinded and disoriented

The light bar and spots are a combo pattern wide/spot..

I'll post some pictures up this weekend...I only use them on highway 63...(29 miles to work at 4:30 in the mornings)...deers are plentiful.

I hit a buck that was around 200pds running 60mph..
It's an experience I don't want to have again if I can prevent it with these long throw lights the it's worth it!

Me to, more like 40-50 mph but mine was middle of the day. Additional lighting wont matter at that time. I wish the whistles worked
