I’ve been dealing with these recurring issues:
-auto LSD and Trac off coming on my dash
-check engine light (only once and caused my truck to kill itself)
-(more recently) tire pressure going crazy by flashing 3.6psi-36psi-180psi
-outside temperature showing nothing "—°F" or bugging out and showing "-28°F" when it’s clearly not.
-getting stuck in accessory mode and not shutting off therefore having to disconnect the battery

nothing has been done to the truck other than new rims and tires and installing some Baja flood lights. I’ve scoured threads looking for an answer and while I do find some relevant stuff I haven’t gotten to an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

"Always start first where the last guy worked" - disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and then disconnect the flood lights.

How did you wire the Baja Lights?
Did you maybe nick a wire in the loom when pulling the new wire into the cab?

the Baja lights were direct installed into oem plug for old fog lights so no wiring needed, also they were installed ages ago and I’ve tried the disconnect of the battery which sometimes works but was trying to find the main issue to see if I could get to the bottom of it. Honestly, I want to say issues started after a window change from safelight but I don’t know how that would coincide

    Window or windshield change?

If a door window there are electrical components in the door.
If a windshield a leak could let water get where it isn't supposed to.

BTW - I didn't recommend disconnecting the battery for a reset but for safety of the truck when doing electrical work.
These trucks have crazy sensitive electrical systems, many folks have started out to just replace the interior lights, made a spark and ended up with an expensive repair.

If you had the window changed it’s possible , that some type of liquid got into a connection or connector and might have shorted something out in the kick panel connection.

If that’s the case I would start looking underneath in the upper area for water damage or leaks. Sounds like it didn’t seal good during replacement .

:fistbump: Agree, it is tougher than a face to face conversation.

Get under the dashboard with a good flashlight, look & feel for any signs of water intrusion.

The mirror also might have an electrical connector/wire that could have gotten damaged when the windshield was changed out.

sounds like this will be where I start, it does act up when it’s raining/when I get it washed and I have noticed I have some condensation issues but only on the front windshield which I had changed

I’ll check and come back to this thread, thanks!
