Wanted to share a few pictures of my install of a bed rug with a cali raised molle panel, two swing cases, and a diesel heater cover that goes over the driver side cubby hole.

It was very tedious work to get all of the components to work together because everything had a different way it had to be mounted, none of the holes or dimensions lined up. I had to make a lot of impromptu changes but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out my husband said I put so much work into it, he can no longer claim it

We have a camper on top that is basically air tight besides windows that unzip to mesh but not directly open so I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how I can route heat into it. I came across a guy on YouTube who makes these brackets and after some modifications, fit a vent into the cubby slot. I then modified the swing case so it would close over it when storing.

Very slick. So the diesel heater runs outside?

Thanks ! Yeah I just got one of those portable ones in a case, going to set it outside on a little tire table and then I only part I will need to attach is the vent when I want to use it. I didn't want to permanently mount propane inside and I wasn't savvy enough to do a full diesel heater install inside haha

I seriously thought about the diesel heater option but ended up going with a jackery/solar panel and a heated blanket

That's one of the cleanest set ups I've seen. Awesome job! I'm guessing it's just a bed cap you're heating? What KW heater are you running and does it heat up well?
