    Everyday I read people using slang to say how the Canadian Tacomas have different parts, so Im wondering if anyone can dumb it down for me a bit?

    From what I've gleaned reading the forum Canadian trucks, v6 anyways, got some of the tow package (big alternator, big battery) and the TSB springs (3 leaf vs 4 leaf). Don't know of any other differences except some Canadian trucks apparently were available with dealer installed leather/heated seats. Either way, I'd look for the tow package anyways because to add all the tow package stuff will cost a good bit. TSB springs are no big deal though; AAL is about $75 or go with airbags for about $275. If you want leather and heat they can be had for about $800 on the current group buy.

    Oh, you'll probably have to do the DRL mod to add DRLs to a US truck too. I don't think it's a big deal but never looked into it either.

    my '10 V6 sr5 isn't pre-wired for fogs. Much harder install to get rid of those shitty black sleeves!

    Who are 'They'?

    A relevant question since your profile says New Brunswick, Canada and there are lots of regular cabs on the road in US.

    Do you mean to say Toyota no longer offers them in US?

    Not difficult. Kit is a little pricey (link in attached thread)...$416 when I did mine last December.

    I really like having the fogs...especially for their main purpose of driving in fog. Our headlights sit so high...I was surprised at how much turning off the headlights and driving with the fogs reduced the glare coming back at my eyes the first time I used them in heavy fog. My main reason for putting them in was to get rid of the black holes (cosmetic), but I've found them very functionally beneficial. Running them with the headlights when not foggy helps light up the sides of road much better.

    Dem canadians don't have regular cabs up there. The us still does.

    Canadian trucks come stock with the 4 leaf " TSB " pack.

    Factory leather and heated seats are an option .

    DTRL is standard .

    You cannot get the Offroad edition in a DC in Canada , it is only offered in the access cab .

    You cannot get an automatic DCSB , they are only offered in manual.

    There are no regular cabs .

    All of the SR5 and TRD models are 4x4 , the only 2WD trucks you can get are the 5 luggers .

    The US 5 luggers come with the standard 3 leaf springs, I bitched and had the dealership install the 4 leaf Canadian springs for the my truck, there is another spring pack for the the Mexican market which is stiffer than the previous two mentioned.
