I might need to make another one or at lease hack this one up. The DieHard is getting a tad long in the tooth and the only replacement I can find with the same exterior dimensions is the Odyssey version at around $300-$350.
If I do it will have an "adjustable size" feature (hint).

Deka Intimidator in the appropriate size may be similar specs to the Diehard.

It was the DieHard AGM before they changed manufacturers. Source: had DieHard AGM and now have Deka Intimidator lol

I think it was your thread I saw that in. I had that knowledge but couldn't remember where I read it. Now I do. Wish i had seen that this past summer when I put a warrantied diehard from Advanced back in.

That was an accidental feature for my current one. When I got the new battery it was a matter of drilling the old rivets out and drilling new holes. An adjustable slide would be much nicer though.

Brand new vaccum lines to help support my new supercharger. Definitely needed a refresh after 20+ years.

Hadn't really thought about selling them, but if there were 3-4 people interested, and I could make a batch at once, I guess I'd ask $25 each unpainted.

I’m very jealous of those who found TW years before me and got to take advantage of stuff like this. Seems like I keep finding all these discontinued parts that I want

I think you were thinking of the Optima batteries. They were the ones that came with a spacer because they are very short.

In my experience the Northstar group 24F AGM is actually taller than most batteries and the coupe hold down with a few extra washers on the front mount provide excellent holding power to keep the battery from moving. The Odyssey PC1500 (group 24F size) is deminsionaly the same as the Northstar 24F.

It's 2:00am and I just finished installing fogs and DRLs after troubleshooting wiring for about 6 hours. Tomorrow (today, technically) I'll get them aimed right and take more pics.

Doesn’t get driven too often but I did a few days ago and heard a pretty nasty grinding noise. Checked the CB and it was quite loose :anonymous: seems all good now tho!
