So is Bronco6g and Mavericktruckclub. Have you visited? Plenty of open disagreement and fighting there. This place isn't unique compared to so called 'fan clubs'. There's no such thing as a forum without disagreement and differing opinions, even among the same 'G' owners. Equating the bullshit some people here are complaining about to some high minded 'critical thought' ... Now that is some serious rose colored glasses in an echo chamber when you actually read the posts here.

I am sure Tacoma4g will evolve when the early excitement and owners build up. From what I can tell it is extremely well run. There will be plenty of open conflict and differing opinions eventually, oh wait I mean CRITICAL THOUGHT LOL. We do live in the U S and A afterall.

I believe the same will happen here. Once 4th gen owners really take over this forum section the conversations will be much more constructive and on-topic. Discussing mods, sharing scenic shots from road trips, the odd maintenance question or mechanical issue, etc.

That’s why I run dynapros. I was able to get them in passenger load rating, 265/75/16 and they weigh like 10lb less than any other A/T tire that size

Depending on the angle you're looking at the truck, sometimes the flared section of the bed make the decal look crooked. I'm not pressed about it.

Iphone 13, but every photo I take with it turns the truck red when it's actually more orange.

Yes, I know. I swung through a dealer near me today and an Octane 4Runner was sitting in the parking lot. It was unmistakable.

We finally got a couple in. I didnt even notice it at first because they look like mini tundras. (which they are)

They seem really plain in the lower trims, I really need the black fender flares to break up the colour.

The interior is now familiar to me as its a late addition to the fleet of current models. It's cutting edge compared to 3rd gen, but compared to the rest of the fleet its at par.

Looking forward to driving the offroad and pro models.

Have you had any training/opinions on Tacoma version of the hybrid? Any areas of interest/concerns on the engine?

I kind of agreed with this before I bought mine, but once I drove it and felt the width difference, I was like, yep mini Tundra.

None yet, its such a mild hybrid it's not a huge point of interest. The big thing is it's not intended for fuel economy, its a boost in performance with a mild gain in MPG.

The Tundra so far has proven this as well, tiny batteries and indirect charging of the HV means its a boost in torque not MPG.

I would only suggest a hybrid Toyota truck to those that understand its for power, not economy.

A true Truck hybrid requires motors at each axle, like the lightening. But then you end up with independent suspension and entirely different truck.

I was more interested in reliability and ease of repair. Sometimes the words I type don't match what is in my brain.
