1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

My garage and house are organized like that to heal from the pain of going to work in a disorganized mess everyday lol. It's still a ton of stuff packed into a two car garage so always plenty of distractions.

 

Purchased a 2007 Toyota Matrix a few months ago to use as my good gas mileage commuter for back and forth to shop. Great little car but had to upgrade steering wheel. I couldn't help it. I'm hooked on having steering wheel controls. 2015 Corolla steering wheel and Pioneer stereo.

 

It's 2024, and Cybertruck owners have to worry about their trucks rusting

 

Think it'll tarnish their reputation?

 

Doubt it. They have bulletproof customer service.

 

Do they know about fluid film?

 

Btw does anyone make parabolic leaf springs for 1st gens?

I just thought it would suit these trucks well since they’re so light in the back, and most of us aren’t hauling heavy loads.

 

You wouldn't even know how to fix the power steering on that thing

Oh they're chevy 63s haha, same design as my leaf pack. Not a new thing but I guess they're making some packs like that now for factory yotas.

They're old, and a bitch to remove (not hard, just need small hands)

I bet replacing a power steering pump on an 80 series would be the end of you

 

I didn’t think the pump was that bad. The box might be another story.
