Getting mine drivers side inner and outer done right now. Asked for toyota parts for and extra $30. Don't have the tools or back to do it myself anymore.

woke up to a dusting in progress. Waited for it to finish. Waited some more, just to be certain. Looks about 2" deep all said. Spent a slow 2 hours cleaning everything up. Finally finished, paused to look everything over, started snowing on me. Hard. Oddly, nothing stuck in front, but in back everything covered again. It melted off the windshields but not the ground. Never a break.

Happy Sunday all. Cold today but sunny at least.

Anyone have any experience with catalytic converter shields? Looks like people are back to cutting them off in the apartment complex. So for the 175 bucks I'm thinking it's cheap, Easy insurance, at least as a deterrent.

Got the keys for the new/old house Friday.
Lots of stuff to do in the next couple months. Some we can do but others we have to sub out.
Hardwood floor re-do, whole interior paint.
20 years ago, wouldn't think twice bout doing it ourselves.
Those days are in the rearview now.

Moving a cord of split firewood out of the basement and into the "hanger" today. What fun! :bananadead:
I'll be busy AF in the next couple months.:bananadead:

last time I looked I was surprised how reasonable it was to redo hardwood floors. It was pretty much the same as having new carpeting installed. No brainer.
Of course in an old house with a drafty basement I still like carpeting as a draft stop at a minimum but I know I'm the exception.

WRT to painting - don't forget the closets. So many people skip them ('I don't want my clothes smelling like paint') but a bright fresh closet is one of those little things that you'll never revisit and always annoys just a smidge. "Quality of Life crimes".

Congrat's on the new place! (remember, we like pictures! :)

When I was looking I noticed a lot of them out there really wouldn't stop a guy with a set of Diablo blades & a quota to meet, they just seemed to force the thief to cut further up & down - taking more exhaust pipe with them. So that's all I can offer, take a look at it & see if it would actually stop you if really wanted your cat?

If they crawl under the truck and can't readily see/access the cat, they are likely going to move on.

Michael and Garcia Gracie loved watching the skiers huck themselves off that ski jump. And they especially loved ringing the cowbell every time someone was jumping.

Very nice. Wish I had one of those glass rooms to bake in. Garage/shop piped for air?

No power, but there's a conduit going to the garage main panel, short run.

Power to the "hanger" is on the short list.
It's only a couple years old.
