@3500 more for another 48hp is cheap.

Unless the electric motors fail after three years. There have been no reports of this, and there are no electric motors with three years on the clock.

I don't think you get my point. I'm saying I would gladly pay 3500 for another factory 48hp. 6 months from now, those that opted for the early buy could regret it.

Personally it’s going to feel like plenty of power without the hybrid to me, but I drive heavy old landcruisers on big tires. So that’s my reference point. Max torque at 1700rmp should feel great.

Can you point to any electric motors regularly failing after 3 years in hybrid applications? Or are you just spreading fear porn?

How did you arrive at $3500, pricing hasn't been released yet?

Ball park guess. Tundra hybrid option is around $3300.

I’m purposely going to stick with the gas model. Cheaper and I utilize the back seat storage a lot which won’t be available in the hybrid model since it houses the batteries. Hybrid and electric are the future, but not quite yet.

Their best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw pricing last night at 31 Flavors. I guess it's pretty serious.

@Sig Taco I paid for the Tundra hybrid, a 2023.

No, the motor isn't going to burn out, ignore the trolls. I test drove both the regular and hybrid Tundras, realized the hybrid was a rocket ship due to the extra torque (583 lb/ft!!) AND THAT SEALED THE DEAL.

    No Ragrets!!

Get the hybrid, you'll be happier.

"But...but... muh STORAGE!" What the hell are you going to "store" there anyways? Useless overlanding crap? In the Tundra I have bungees, ratchet straps, "D" shackle, road flares, and a first aid kit. In the hybrid. With the JBL.

    What more do you need?
