I was very surprised when we went he sold it to the parks system at a good price. And the house is nice but not what I expected for a man of his means. But the island is pretty good size and he had the entire thing. I just looked it up the island was a little over 4600 acres

 

That would be nice! No neighbors!! It also said he only charged them 4.9mil for the island that appraised for 27.something

He did bring a lot of attention to the sport, along with some other famous names, good bad or indifferent

 

My bad, maybe he needs a handyman , I could become available

 

He did not take his caretaker from sc west he stayed with the island and hired on with the park system if I remember correctly.

 

The caretaker was part of the tour and to hear him tell first hand what they tried and went through to try to prevent erosion was interesting. He’s probably still tickled he was able to get somebody to take that off his hands. And he came out looking great for the amount he sold it for. But the caretaker was showing pictures of barges with car sized chunks of granite. With another barge with a giant crane on it setting them. And telling how many millions that attempt cost. So much they tried logs the next time. And he said that was a total flop.

 

Of course...your firm didn't work on it.

Golf course equipment?

 

I read somewhere John Deere has got an electric tractor. It’s pretty bad ass, recharge with on site ag solar. The technology is pretty cool. I still love the old school stuff. Been looking at trucks, mostly T4Rs, they are really dated tech wise. Man I love them, 24 will be the last year for the 5th gen., makes me want one even more.
