DIY soft shackle

    No money, all went to truck...
    Been futting around with soft shackles. Made some 3/16” and then I practiced with using a splicing needle and 1/4” dyneema rope. Pretty simple, if I can do it you can do it. Supposed 8600 lb breaking strength.

    Seriously though! That's awesome that you're making your own. Tying and splicing ropes are great skills to have.

    FYI, here is a trusted sizing chart from the Yankum Ropes website.

    thanks for the info. Messing with different sizes. it isn't that small!! You could get a 2 shackles in there no problem.
