Fired it up again today. Adjusted the valves. Seems to run a little better and smoother. Also did another oil change to get rid of more of that sludge inside the engine...

 

There's one guy out here that has one of every Sandwich model!

 

That would be cool to have a collection like that, but I think I would be sleeping out in my shop with them if I got that many.

 

Did those manuals I sent, help you out any?

Forgot to update this thread. I took the rockers off my old one and put it on my newer one. Runs much smoother. The old ones had a LOT of play in it.

Man I haven't worked on my old engine in over a month!

 

I know the feeling. Between, work, clearing down trees from storms and day to day stuff, ( life i guess), mine have been sitting idle all winter.
Really looking forward to spring when some of the big shows near me and in PA start up.

 

Well I don't have much to work on now after I did swapped the rocker arms.

Hopefully I'll be able to enter it into our local fair this summer. We will probably be having a sale at work that week so I'll probably won't be able to enter it this year

 

That' sucks. Dang work gettin in the way of fun. Hate when that happens.

 

It got in the way last year too!

Maybe but we've fired 5 people in the last few months from the front desk to the yard guys like me. We had a crew of 6 guys in the yard to now 2 who work (including me) and one who does nothing all day so he barely counts.

Don't want to leave everyone hanging but I'll think about it some more.
