You're definitely a bit too young to start agreeing with James May!

PSA do your front diffs before 70k :(

And the third gen 4x4 ATF is a pain in the balls to do.

Cheers @AllTacosFloat @super_white - i think the ATF is a minimum 2 person job. Huge thanks to y'all.

Doing mine on the 26th. My buddy is doing it, and the oil change/rotation@80k(be 81k, but, close enough).
    Did the diffs/tcase @60 or 65k, don't remember.

TC was pretty good for 70k. I wouldn't have been shy leaving it. I'm not leaving the front and rear this long again that's for sure.

I had a dealer change the transmission fluid in my last Ford. There is a dipstick but no drain plug. There is also a heat exchanger that needs to be moved to drop the pan. Did not want to deal with it. I also had them do coolant because I have no idea how to get rid of used coolant around here.

I did the rear diff and transfer case. Rear diff looked great at 65k. Transfer case fluid was noticeably thinner than the new fluid and black as night. I think the torque on demand clutch is tough on the fluid. I didn't bother changing the front diff fluid because that was rebuilt at 40k.

Anyone looking to buy OEM bed light kit or OEM floor mats, or OEM door edge guard, never used. I thought I'd need them on my new truck so I order them but it ended up having them already.

    $100 floor mats
    $40 Bed Light Kit
$70 door edge guard for MGM double cab

around Boston area. Shoot me a message

I guess the trucks have it pre-wired behind the headlight where it connects in

Even though I hardly use 4WD I should get this done with my next oil change. Might get a price on transfer case and front diff package price. Had the ATF done a year ago at 60,000 miles.

I'll probably get the year wrong it's either 2020 or 2018. I'm 2020. They're pre wired for the bed lights connected to the cargo light. Pop the blanks out and there's a connector back there. 4 seconds and they're awesome. Lights under a tonneau or in a cap. I have them because i found out I was pre wired. I forget if the cut off is 2018 or 2020 though.

I was honestly surprised how bad it was. I ignored it before my skid was obnoxious but i figured it was fine. If i knew it was this bad I'd have taken a sawzall to it earlier.

Also to be fair i am not a standard use case. Far from a rock crawler but far from gentle.

I took the family on a nice day trip yesterday. We went to the LL Bean store in Freeport ME. After that we had some nice seafood at a place called Luke's in Portland before heading home.

After 4 hours of work. I managed to completely reorganize the shed. And somehow managed to have enough room to park these guys in it! Still trying to cleanup my small woods track.

Mowing deck came in for my tractor - the dealer has it mostly ready to go, they just need to load the rear tires. They're delivering it Thursday!
