i have a DC LB with 5100's at 1.75" and 2" rear blocks, im running the stock off road rims (16") and 265/70/16 cooper discoverer ATR's, could i fit 285's probably the same cooper tire or BFG all terrains, with the amount of lift that i have? or would i have to trim from rubbing

    A few bolts are different.
285's will rub the UCA's on stock wheels at close to full turn. Will also need to remove/trim the front mud flaps and the front portion of the inner fender well.

even at 2.5", you'd have to trim. and you'd need spacers to keep from rubbing the UCAs w/ 285s unless you have aftermarket rims.

x3, need more lift and spacers. Then you can trim away...

aight, mudflaps are already removed, so trimming and spacers, how big of a spacer and what brands are good?

    Hello,

So .... if you are going to install new wheels with the 285's, what wheels should you order to give you the equivalent to the 1.25" spidertrax?

    Cheers.

Then there would only be rubbing that could be taken care of with trimming?

With 3" of lift there would be minor rubbing
