Hey all, does anyone have the core brand shifter on their 4 cylinder? I'm swapping a R156F into my 2nd gen 4 cylinder 4x4 and need to purchase a shifter. The OEM is more than the core, so I'm eyeballing the core. Is it any good?

I got the hurst core in my 6 speed, it’s good. The disadvantage to getting rid of the stock shift lever is loosing the rubber vibration dampening in the lever. So the hurst makes noise and vibrates but it isn’t unbearable. The shift knob I didn’t care for, too small. I swapped in a sick speed larger ball using their METAL adapter. I wouldn’t trust a plastic one.

That's good to know. The vibration dampening wouldn't bother me as I'm used to old sm4565 and 420's. Being on 37's I've long forsaken much in the way of civility. Lol
