    Hi everyone.

Where can I purchase front sway bar bushings with 26mm diameter sway bar for my 1996 tacoma 2wd 2.4 engine?

The part number on my original bushing is 48815 04030 and verified this part is discontinued online at all the stores that I could see.

My sway bar diameter measures exactly 26mm measured with a caliper. My bolt distance measurement from center to center of the bolts is 64.2mm.

    https://parts.conicellitoyotaofcons...hing-left-right-front-lower-48815ad030?c=az0x

Would this work? This part number is super close to mine... The only difference being AD030 instead of 04030...

I ordered the 26mm ones from prothane - kit PART NUMBER: 181113 which don't fit. The diameter for the sway bar was perfect but the rest of the dimension including height and width was not a fit to the original bracket. Also the polyurethane sway bar link bushings in this kit had a dimater that was double the size that was needed so they would not work.

I've looked up universal by prothane and they don't fit because of the bolt splay/measurement between the bolts.

I ordered Ultra-8 sway bar bushings part no 48815-AD010 from NAPA. They do not fit. The sway bar diameter for this bushing is slightly smaller - maybe 25mm? and will not fit. the rest of the dimensions for this bushing were the closest fit so far and actually slide into the original bracket with some force. I did not want to try and force one in with the sway bar in it in case I can return these and actually find something that is meant to fit.

I tried ordering direct from Toyota but they informed me that their part number(which I don't have a copy of) has been discontinued.

**Update** I found a dealership in Canada - Brandt Toyota in Ontario that supposedly had them. They refused to sell them to me and I even offered $500 up front over the phone.

I've been hunting down the same bushings. My dad has a 98' auto and I have a 99' 5mt. I can confirm that the Toyota catalog says "discontinued". I cross referenced the parts from Rockauto and I found the Dorman and Mevotech part numbers.
    Dorman is BSK74209PR
    Mevotech is MS86424

I ordered the Dorman ones for about $16 on ebay. I will let you know if they do indeed fit our trucks.

Have you tried energy suspension? Their website look up is slick, cross reference it to the autozone website and purchase from there. Autozone is really good at returns if the product does not fit within 90 days.

The Delphi TD4728W bushings fit right on mine.

Just took a look on the Energy Suspension website. I wrote down all of their part numbers. The sway bar bushings are sold as a kit with the end links for about $47. We're balling on a budget. Out of the Dorman, Delphi, and Moog sway bar bushings on ebay, the Dorman are the cheapest at $15 shipped. Thank you for telling me about Energy Suspension.

Don't blame ya, I'm sure if you're not beating the tar out of your truck whatever fits will hold up fine.

At this point it's about being able to find the right parts to keep the truck alive. It's so hard finding 5 lug stuff

Update: Replacement bushings finally came in. I can confirm that the Dorman bushings to fit perfectly. They are soft rubber so definitely not a performance upgrade of any kind. But now I have replaced all of the bushings for the swaybar.

Nice! I like the soft bushings, as close to OEM as possible. I figure Toyota knew what they were doing with their formulation of rubber to optimize things. Grease the absolute shit out of those with heavy grease if you didn't already.
