Well mine up and running? Needs
    1. Needs a better HP Tuners tune and reset the speedo.
    2. Build a TiG 304 quieter exhaust system w/ cats & adding another 5x11x22 muffler and a 3” hidden turn down
    3. Clean up some wiring (shorten some & reroute others)
    4. Then figure out how to get cruise!
    Does it ever stop?

these trucks have teething they have to go through.

one thing I want to figure out, and maybe @Dm93 can speak to this. The Holley has outputs for ECT, RPM, and Speedo. Piping these into the OEM gauge cluster isn’t going to give me any pertinent information because everything is going to be off. My RPM is like 500 rpm off right now.

I want to pipe all the data into an arduino or something to adjust the inputs and output them correctly for the gauge cluster. Orrrrrrr I just nut up and buy the Holley screen and somehow mount it in the stock location, and then get the fuel level data from the sender into the ECU.

btw, fuel level isn’t reading on the dash it just says I’m empty 24/7. I don’t know if I messed up the sender installing my fuel pump, or if I’ve removed a crucial ground required for it to work. Maybe I’ll just install a Holley fuel level sender when I drop the tank. Ideas?

You can use a Dakota digital box and it will adjust all your inputs so you can get them dialled for your dash. @tacotunner06 ran one so he knows more.

    Or do the screen.

I thought you had the Holley little 3.5 in display that you could add display whatever data you wanted? I’m running a full haltech dash and ecu nowadays but for the stock gauges the Dakota digital box makes it pretty simple to get the rpm and speedo dialed in.

BRO. that guy in that screenshot has exactly what I want my interior to look like. Even has the same shifters that I do. He probably didn’t have any of that made here in az though.

I do, it’s currently rubber banded to my rear view mirror. I’m still terrified I’m going to lose oil pressure or start overheating or something. So I wanted it in my line of sight. Lmfao.

But the raptor has AC seats and a heated steering wheel.

oh yeah, it has AC in general. I’m running out of time here in AZ to not have AC

Is there a wire on the stock harness that recurves 12v when the truck is in reverse? It used to be an MT truck so there’s no range selector, just the reverse switch I’m assuming. If I feed that wire 12v my reverse lights should come on right? Just wondering where I can find that wire.

Connector IH1 Pin 6 (Red/White) behind the glovebox would probably be the easiest place, there's also Connector ID2 Pin 1 (Red/White) behind the left kick panel.

Tomorrow I’ll get the reverse lights all wired up. Before work tomorrow it’s gonna get its first oil change. I’ll send some off to Blackstone to see how it’s doing. Drove 150 miles today, most of which were off-road. Really got to feel what this suspension is capable of. I hit bumps that used to put a foot up my ass and now the truck just mops them right up. Absolutely mind boggling.

I even tried jumping it on one of the usual spots, the raptor catches air and bounces. The Tacoma’s tires didn’t even leave the ground at the same speed because of how much travel this thing has.

    Totally worth.

    IMG_0879.jpg IMG_0881.jpg IMG_0885.jpg IMG_0886.jpg

I also got my first tune revision today. We cleaned up the torque converter lock up curve, so it isn’t as confused anymore. Made the 1-2 and N-1 shift a lot softer so it doesn’t grab so hard. Set IDLE rpm at 800. Changed some of the Holley outputs around, so now the Holley controls the trans cooler fan depending on trans fluid temp. Also setup an output for the range selector to turn on my reverse lights and activate my backup camera.

    speaking about trans coolers….

I don’t know that mine is up to the task. Just driving around the cooler and Holley are able to keep it at 170, but if you start thrashing on it, the temp likes to climb. When I was climbing a very steep grade going up off-road, the temps climbed over 220, so I pulled over and let it cool. I don’t know what’s regarded as a safe temp and what’s not, but 220 gave me a bad feeling. Nothings acting any different and everything is operating as it should. Idk. I thought that cooler would be enough. We’ll see what happens in the future. It’s gonna stay the way it is for now.

I just ordered a Holley fuel level sender, so when I drop the tank to install a new OEM one I’ll install this as well. That way I have a backup in case it’s actually a ground preventing my OEM gauge from working, and not me having damaged it when installing my pump. And when I get a Holley dash? Maybe? It’ll be easy to add that in.

I messaged that dude @WormSquirts posted a screenshot of to see if I can get an identical console made since we have the same shifters, or at least where he got it done. I also want his gauge cluster. This truck in all reality is a lot closer to being good than I think it is.

Power is pretty good. I’m changing the oil tonight and will rev it out past 3000 rpm. It has 0 problem lighting up the tires on the street while staying under 3k, so I imagine it’ll be crazy.

this is the trans cooler I’m running:
