Scrubbed some tires, and knocked a dent out.
SW is a good rifle. Definately nicer rifles, but an in spec good quality rifle is the most important thing.

No doubt. And perhaps after jail, prison lol.

Just in the past day I saw some proposed bills saying you need a FSC to even possess. On that FSC bill let’s say you let someone shoot your gun at the range and they don’t have a FSC it’s a misdemeanor. Saw one earlier saying that homeowners insurance wants to know if you have firearms in the house. This state is doing anything they can to have good hardworking citizens not own guns and let criminals do whatever they want.

The FSC took 30 minutes to review any new laws and 5 minutes for the test so it’s not too big a deal. Good for 5 years.

    Everything else, no one asked…

I don’t know what your mechanical abilities are but with the purchase of minimal tooling you can buy the parts and build your own with minimal effort. It’s fun and can really help you understand how the weapon works and how to make any repairs

Well you should get it no problem then. It’s fun and addictive. I treat it like a game trying to find the parts I want for as good a price as I can

Dig deep on this info, there is more to it. I was told by my LGS that this did not apply to consignment hand guns. Didn't ask about consignment long guns.

Anyone have any idea of what I can swap the hand guard out to without looking goofy with my low pro gas block?

With the pic rail section on top I’m not sure that’s a low pro gas block that’ll fit under a handguard. I don’t have one but have seen ones designed to go with that mounting system and are more full length.

You’re right it’s not necessarily low pro… mid pro? Lol. It’s not the standard triangle sight.

I was at a large public range in Sacramento a couple years back and there were more than a few post-ban area ARs with the bullet buttons obviously removed. Talking Remington R-15s and similar that could be bought as ban-compliant and then easily restored to usual function.

Get in the foothills/Sierra-range counties and ban compliance drops pretty quick.

OP. I am sorry your 2A rights are being trampled on but there are about 45 different states that you can move too. If you can find a UHaul truck in CA.
