Alternative bed mats?

Anyone using something other than an OEM? Outdoor rug from Home Depot? Scrap EPDM? Will something like that be likely to get sucked out at highway speeds? (Ive never laid my hands on a OEM mat but they look heavier than the two alternatives I suggested)

BAM on eBay has the OEM ones for around $75 shipped to your door. Just have to keep an eye out

 

Mine was actually less than $60 shipped to my door. “Open box” version

 

I bought a used F150 mat, and cut it down to size.

 

I really like my BedRug mat.

It makes sliding tool boxes in and out pretty easy and as long as you don't drive like a mad man they will stay in place. Stuff slides a little more than the rubber mat but no where near as bad as no mat.
It is held down by velco so it won't fly out.

 

I second the old F150 mat. I got a free mat that was green from sitting. After some pressure washing and some cutting, it fits perfectly.
I even made sure to centre the logo when I cut it down.

 

I got this one and have been happy with it.

+1 for Tractor Supply. Used it to move houses and it is so grippy it even ripped some glued-on feet on furniture.

Tractor Supply mat is 4ft x 6ft. The cutouts from the close-to-cab are reused to fill the side-wings near the tailgate.
