If anyone coming up from the valley to flag in the next few weeks that wants to transport a set of leaf springs id appreciate it.

Still debating what I wanna do for a bit more forward throw, but I figured the amber fogs would help with dusty conditions. Looks pretty sweet too!

Ram out of welding wire. But pretty happy with the progress. Almost done.

I hate running out of wire or gas mid project with a passion. The worst was when I had something all tacked up and was excited to burn it in, and laid 1” of weld before running out. On a weekend nonetheless so the welding supply stores were closed.

We got a couple options for buying wire on the weekend but nothing to get gas. I was tired and my back was hurting so I’ll take the bummer and finish up tomorrow.

Was 50/50 on going with a 20” S8 for this or giving her my old 30” onyx6 and upgrading my light package with a new bumper for the Tacoma. Buddy said he had a new 20” S8 willing to sell because he want using it for his Chevy volt. So gonna go that route haha

I’ve ran both and both are bright as hell, plenty for the 4R. Cheaper lenses for the S8 too if you ever want to change the pattern.

@snowsk8air2 Just keep your onx6 and send it in to get upgraded to the +. That's what I did, pretty noticeable difference and not out the full cost of a new bar.

Been wanting to do it for a while. Maybe I’ll do it when I someday do build the taco a new front bumper. It’s certainly a decent upgrade

Just booked a trip to Moab in March. Need to be more spontaneous, I think that covers it. :D

It'll line up with 3 years since I survived my very very close call.

I know I wanna do the Shaefer canyon trail, fly the drone in some spots where I'm allowed to (I know no national parks! I'm not a dick!), and generally soak in the sights and maybe take some glamor shots of the runner.

There’s a lesser known trail Onion creek starts by Fisher Towers and wraps around back side of the state park with Fins n Things. I think depending on recent weather determines how rough it can be

Wife was going through the moab trail book and found fin n things. She liked the name so she wheeled the whole trail herself then I made her do baby lions back too. It was a proud husband day.
