I get that. Its pretty much the reason why I dont have a super moto setup for the WR450 (let alone all the trouble with the law id get from hooning)... I dont wanna deal with swapping stuff when I want to go use it for a specific purpose. Ill pull the proper knife out of the knife block for the task.

I pull rims on and off my dirtbikes all the time (have stands etc) and its not hard, but not something Id wanna do to go from street to dirt.

I did drop the XT225 in the garage the other day.... Boy. I felt bad for it. Single car garage makes things tight so I needed to roll it out to the driveway to make room. Pulled it up off the kickstand fliped that up, started rolling back and realized I needed to be on the other side of the bike to get around some other stuff.

Sat on it and got off on the other side (opposite of kickstand) and continued to roll out of the garage. Stop and damn near throw it on what I THOUGHT was going to be the kickstand.... nope. straight to the ground lol.

One scratch on the grip of the clutch side. No biggie.

dirtbike rims are tbh fine i dont have to remove my caliper and finagle it back in at the same time lol the sm wheels are a biiiitch they barley fit in there since i went with a wider tire.... plus no stand! i just use a car jack and it has fallen on me a few times and maaaan that shit dont feel good! i really should get a stand but im kinda leaning towards finding a used lift to mess with the bikes on... ive seen em for good prices around me but havent bought one yet.

youch thats never fun haha the worse i had was leaving the house and the clutch messed up (back when my clutch was having issues) and it stalled the bike as i was leaving my driveway in first so it just stopped and i basically let go and it hit hard on the ground.... but its fiiiine i think lol

Mosko Moto is opening a second-hand market store, that's kind of cool.

    https://moskomoto.treet.co/about/seller

List it, sell it, and if you choose Mosko Moto credit you get 110% of the sale price, if you want cash you get 80%. Could be a good upgrade option or a way to score some verified/protected used gear.

That's pretty cool. I wonder who'd be responsible if the seller never ships the item. Maybe Mosko holds the funds until it's proven? Same goes for the buyer. What if they lie and say they never received the item?

From the brief amount I read it sounds like buyer has 3 days to confirm receipt or raise an issue/claim that what they bought was misrepresented otherwise it auto-clears to seller.

Edited to add: It'll be interesting to see how things get priced. I've been debating selling my nomax tank bag, and might try it out there. I feel better about that than possibly getting scammed on FB marketplace or even advrider forums. I haven't had a bad interaction on those yet, but am always nervous about it y'know.

Damn. Sounds like the seller doesn't have long to ship :D Not my problem since I wouldn't be a seller, only a buyer

I think they have a week to send it out with the prepaid label, then once delivered the 3 day clock starts going.

I got curious and went through part of the listing process. They gave me a suggested range of $82-258 for my nomax tank bag, with the option to trade it in directly to them for the $82 bottom amount and not even deal with listing. Still think it's a cool system, will probably end up listing my bag in the next few weeks.

Ah, that makes it a bit more even-keel for both parties.

Never used FB marketplace to sell. I have sold several items through forums and have never had a bad experience. I've sold a Sargent seat and a set of FJR saddlebag liners within the past 2 weeks on an FJR forum. Maybe it's just naivete but I somehow feel like by all of us being on a common forum with a common interest we're somehow more trustworthy.

I've got some really nice race boots I've been trying to sell for like 3 years. That sounds like a great way to do it. Escrow sales are pretty cool so long as the site owners stay good

Had a 1996 F3... that was a great all around bike. One that I probably should have kept.

so ive done it with a few things and overall its not bad minus the bs of someone msging asking if its still available and then poof they are gone. you also have to worry about well kids... a lot of under 18 people are on facebook and they will ask to trade the most random stuff and then when you turn them down they argue for a few seconds like someone is actually responding and caring then they get blocked. other then that thou its been alright

Well gang, gonna hit a pretty big milestone for me today: I'll break 1000 miles of riding on my way home from work this evening!

Oh and I also got the KLX up to 87mph this morning. :anonymous:
